Dude.....I'd never get in that mess. I can remember when that mud hole was full of trash and car parts.
Someone burned a 3rdgen toyota x cab right there about 4 years back.
The TJ looks really good though. Bring it by the house sometime.:beer:

You know i got hired to clean up some of the cars out of richlands. I ended up with that toyota. halled it out in one load with my f-150. That and a small homemade tractor, VW, Jeep, and parts of a honda crx. how that got there I would like to know. Still going sun at 10am if you can go.

We let that Ford check it out for us before he took the Jeep in it. I'm all for letting someone else tear their stuff up before we attempt it. :lol:

I remember seeing an old eclipse or Talon out there a long time ago.....best I can recall there were two toyota trucks out there. I got the steering box offf the one that was burned....it was the only thing usable.
 
damn i wish i could meet up with you guys this weekend:( i have to open at work every morning this weekend. but yea im all up for some wheeling if we plan it out a bit so i can get off work. i have a tj that i will mild wheel but im working on an xj that will be mainly for offroading. i know another guy that would like to do some mild wheeling too

Trust me i plan to. My trucks diffrent than it was. It's now lifted 6in susp. 3in body locked in the rear on 35 swampers.

you'll be fine we just had one in their last year same model. also a factory 95 blazer and jeep grand cherokee. owe and a factory 92 f-150 extended cab long wheel base and a two wheel drive blazer. just stay on the main trail.

People used that road as a trash dump for decades.

to bad the rain isn't in vanderbuilt cause i'm going mudding in richlands. just kidding. have fun and will catch up later.

I tried to look up some history about the old town in richlands i can't find a thing. All i know is that it's now just a good spot to go four wheeling and to pick up some beer cans. I also try to stay out of there as much as posible after dark. I saw a couple of drunk collage boys in there adout 2am tring to play a game of who can dodge a bullet. After dark fun for dummys. At least they gave me all there beer cans before I got out of there.

I work third shift so sometimes I get bored of sitting in a house at nite with my family asleep. the only other thing I can do is watch TV. So it's ether watch TV or go wheeling. 2am isn't even my lunch time.

gooftrooper I thought you done pretty dang good out there yesterday. Can't wait to see that thing lifted. I had a blast. They should have some of the stuff on you tube in a week or two. Look under mudding in richlands or trgberrier. You can check out some of the stuff we did when we where stock.
 
bringing this thread back up to see how the hell some of ya'll made it through some of richlands in a stock vehicle. Went today for the first time and the first 1/4 mile or so was nothing. At about the 3rd or 4th creek crossing there's a big ol' hill to climb up with huge rocks in it and big divets. We were having trouble getting up it in a lifted rubicon on 35's. Had to turn around and head back. Anyone know what we did wrong? lol. Pretty sure we were still on the main trail. There were off trails but most of them had locked gates.
