Went up there a few months ago with a stock xj on 235/75/15 highway tires. You were going the right way, you just have to stick to the right lines. It was raining when we went and I made it the first time but you just have to stick to the bank. Its really not that bad. We made it to the playground and had to turn back. A blazer with a 3" bl and 32s came with us and couldn't make that same bank.
