Bristol on the dirt!

Im about an hour from there and have never been to a nascar race.Ive been to the drags and one truck race but never Nascar.

It's a pretty visceral experience and I'm not really a nascar fan. 4 hours to get out of the lot after the race brought the suck. I immediately understood the benefit to camping at the track.

I was raised about 5 miles from Volunteer Speedway in Bulls gap TN.Its suppose one of the fastest dirt tracks in the US,can't prove it by me,but when they'
re running there's a cloud of orange dust you can see for miles.

Not sure if it factored in, but the race was also moved from Sunday to a Monday due to weather, I bet a lot of people couldn't go then?

Neighbor was pumped about the race and had tickets, but couldn't go monday because work

Just makes me want to watch real dirt track racing. 410 sprints on a feature night is hard to beat. Race gas, soggy hot dogs and chunks of clay hitting your face.
