Brown mountain?

Would people more interested in a New Year's eve run or New Year's day?
It doesn't really matter to me one way or the other.
As for the "smoothing", there has never been a lot of challenge, it is more about getting together and meeting people somewhere other that the Hooter's parking lot.

As of right now, things are a go.
I may be riding shotgun with someone, but I will be there and can lead the trail.

Either date is good with me. If the Mrs. doesn't want to go I would be happy to donate my passenger seat to ya Chris.
 
From Hickory Brown Mtn. Is a one hour trip. How about Mtn. City, TN which is more challangeing but only 1 and 1/2 hour. Form Hickory.
That way we could have a stockers and built rigs. Mtn. City also has a great staging area for the meet and greet.

I was at the Brown Mtn. Run last year and had a blast!
 
I have been to Calallantee a few times and it is a great trail system.
I am open to either, I just enjoy Brown on the last day they are open. It is alot easier to get to right now too. 321 is down to one lave between Lenoir and Blowing rock for the road construction.
 
321 was closed entirely over the weekend. Not sure if it's opened back up yet or not.

I would be down for either the 31st or 1st at Brown. Might have an open seat too.
 
So when is this run??

I will be in gulches the weekend of the 19th, there is a good crowd going there
 
No helmet, had the 4 wheeler for 2 weeks and on a difficult rated trail...:shaking:

Date is still up in the air, either the 31st or the 1st. Either day is fine with me.
If we go the 1st, at least we can say we have already wheeled in '07.:flipoff2:

Meeting time will somewhat depend on whether this ends up being a "local" run, or if a number of people come from a good ways away.

I would think meet at 9 and caravan to the trails? If anyone wants to meet us there, that is fine too.

Monday at 9:00 sounds good, but now one more question,lol. Where do we meet?
 
I will be coming from Winston. Meeting at the trailhead is no big deal to me. Anywhere else I would need directions or an address to mapquest.
 
I'm thinking of jumping in as well, lso comin gfrom Winston. i have a buddy w/ an Unlimited that is itchin' to get into thsi business, so I may try and bring him.
