Brown mountain?

sounds like it will be fun. My Girlfriend and I will try to make it with the rain in the forecast it will be a blast. Hope you don't mind but I cross posted the info to Rubicon Owners Forum to see if anyone was interested.
 
my buddy w/ the Unlimited is in. Actually I think I'm gonna just ride with him.
just quick confirmation - even w/ the longer wheelbase, shouldn't be problem for a bone stocker, eh?
 
There are two main obstacles at Brown Mnt.
1. Where to park, turn a trailer when it's crowded( if you tow there)
2. Motorcycles and four wheelers driving, sliding, up under you/
 
OK just FYI, looks like Joel, myself and buddy (Scott) will be meeting you directly at the trailhead. 2 Jeeps.
 
I'll be at the Exxon between Granite and Lenoir at 9.
(It is on the right at a Stoplight, has a Subway inside, right across the street from a Hardees)
I will have one stock TJ and my Commando.


For those meeting at the trailhead, are you going to buy your passes before you get there?

I am going to leave the Exxon at 9:30 and should be at the trailhead about 10.

They will be open in the morning and still have passes.
Some of the other places I called were out of day passes, only year passes.
From what the guy said, if you head back towards Lenoir on Adako Rd. ( the road Brown is on), you will pretty much run right into his store.
I am going to go by there with whomever is with me from the Exxon on the way in the morning. We will meet at the actual trailhead, in the parking lot.

RatLabGuy and myself will be picking up our passes in Colletesville at Hoyles. We will be picking them up before we get to the trailhead. I know ajeeperwannabe and Renegadestang are also planning on meeting at the trailhead. It should be nice and muddy.

FYI - My wife backed out so I have an open passenger seat if anyone would like to go but doesn't wanna wheel their junk.

i will give you credit, you have been one of the most helpful spotters the times youve needed to spot for me. but i seriously hope i dotn need to be spotted any tomorrow

Post quality and spelling going downhill, prospects of seeing awspence at the Exxon going down with them...:flipoff2:
