Does anyone have time and capability to create a DWG or DXF file to have this laser cut into a piece of steel? I've got a friend that said he would fabricate the tray insert part for me if I could get him a DWG or DXF file.

I can't help, but from some quick googling you may be able to do a free trial of scan2cad and get a dxf file that way.

Tire track either side and the beer/jeep grill pretty much as shown. I can give dimensions for the tray, it is not to scale. Just an idea/sketch of what I dreamed up.

So you want the tire track picture turned into a dxf to cut into a drip tray like the other picture?
Yes the tire track picture/design cut and fabricated for an new tray insert replacing the perforated original.

Went back to some old threads and saw @BRUISER had responded to a similar thread for this.
Ken can you PM me?

Getting a vector format file of the logo picture is the important part. The CAD for the rest of the tray geometry looks pretty simple probably. Most CAD programs aren't well suited to doing vector tracing in the same way that graphic programs are.

I just used a freeware/online jpg to dxf converter from a Google search, and it actually worked okay for the limited number of available conversion settings. A better quality program with more options would probably work pretty well.

I'll check it out.
Is there a website that shares dwg or dxf I wonder.
Going to Google that.
