on occasion I have need to remove large truck style wheels. Buying a 3/4" or 1" impact has been something I need to do but haven't, mostly because a decent one is expensive as hell ($300+ for something not Harbor Freight) then once I get it, I don't have the air capacity to run it. Compressor or hose wise. Then there's the various sockets that won't be used for anything but wheel removal Just doesn't make sense to purchase when I don't need but every few months.

Bought this back last winter, used it a couple times since. Torque multiplier, $45 on Amazon, works awesome, and it's not all that cumbersome to use. Yep, it's chicom crap, but it works, and was cheap.
There are several on 'zon, just took a stab to try it out. This is compact enough it will fit inside deep wheels ( just used it on a set of Budd wheels on a forklift) and hardly any real effort to loosen the lugs VS a 1/2" impact that will beat the hell out of you and itself trying to get the job done.
@BRUISER you might find this handy for the bus.

Gear reduction 58:1, low speed high torque, one revolution on the crank end (you don't use power tools on this) near effortless

This thread just went for the win.

Would work better with a custom long arm crank handle. All you need is another factory handle to cut and weld to it. If you need help I know somone super awesome at that kind of custom fab. Just got to drive west a bit.
