What did you have?

For my family it was Jumbo shrimp, oysters, 3 different beans, buiscuits, ham, pecan pie, sweet potato pie and plenty of drinks to go around.

We're gonna have a ham, mashed taters, brussel sprouts, green beans and some cheap drinks.

We were going to make 4 different types of tamales and a few other things, and that was agreed upon for a few months, but then someone else decided a week ago that our food decisions weren't good enough and they wanted to do everything themselves instead. So we're not cooking anything anymore.

No, I'm not angry. I love overcooked turkey instead of tasty Mexican food.

Spaghetti and apple pie this year.

Tomorrow is the big day with in-laws, all the traditional grub.

Honey baked ham, fried turkey, dressing, rice, Texas roadhouse mashed potatoes and gravy (my brother is a kitchen manager, he makes it with their recipe), green beans, corn bread, collards (collard sandwich!), Lumpia (spring rolls), cake, and chocolate pie.

I ate some of all of that! Now I'm about to die.

10lbs of prime rib!

Went to the in-laws house for Turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and cheese cake. I ate too much.

I ate myself stupid and that prime rib still looks good!

Last night was spaghetti, meatballs and Italian suasuage.
Today is thanksgiving redo, birds about done. I'm getting hungry. Typically we've done ham, but the daughter suddenly "hates" ham, so we all willingly agreed to turkey.

Prime rib smoked with whiskey barrel oak chips and mesquite, green beans w/ham hocks that have been cooking since 4pm yesterday, cheesy potatoes (best side dish EVER!), and some popovers! Home made pecan pie (by yours truly) with vannala ice cream for desert.

My diet and workout plan just went out the window!

We did it a little different this year.

Seafood style. Lobster, crab, mussels, shrimp, etc.

Wife's favorite food.
