I think the problem is that someone pis* in your cornflaks this morning.
I said I'm not trying to insult anyone here and gave my opinion. Your's
is differant, I've had a problem explained what happened and now your
being a b#tch about the rest.

sorry you feel that way. i agreed that is a weak point, and it is also easily fixed. i have never seen a 14 bolt break. never, and every 14 bolt i see gets beat on and runs 40's. i just think you saw a one off problem, in mud, and without the upgraded yoke, and you labled all 14 bolts as weak. and that makes you wrong. no problem though. we will agree to disagree.

I have no problem admitting I was wrong on saying the axle is weak. I should have pointed out exactly what I thought was week. If I get out of line again please shoot me first.

dude...a 14 bolt will handle 44's with out any trouble. the u bolt yokes are only bad when you smack them on somthing. they will hold up to power long after the u-joint itself is destroyed. dont say about this unless you have dealt with one in person. this is like me arguing that rockwells will only take 46's and ive never had one under anthing i own

Dang guys I go to class and come back in a few hours and you have added over a dang page of disscusion, lol.

Fryedaddy, no insult taken whatsoever, I definitly respect your opinion and I thank you for all the info on the rust issue before. I was just wondering what your take on why a 14 bolt wouldn't hold up to 40's and I was waiting for your input so I could look into fixing it, or whatever. Please continue to give as much input as you can because it will only help me in the long run. Same goes with anyone else, like I said I'm still in college and have been doing this for only 2.5 years so I have alot to learn.

And everyone keeps givin me crap about not getting anything done, lol,
Three reasons Guys:
1. I'm in College, which means the Samurai and Jeep are back home being stored while I'm up here, and I don't have much time to do anything or work much except during the summer.
2. The reason I havn't done much actual "work" on the samurai is because I've been collecting all the parts first, If you go back and look at the samurai buildup thread and you'll see I have collected a substantial amount of parts and no those parts aint cheap ether.
3. Plus I also dropped a substantial amount of $ on a sound system for my truck which I have also yet to install because I ran out of $ and still need a box.

Anyway, thanks for all the constructive input and keep it coming, and trust me when I do something You guys will be the first to know cause I'll post it to show it off, lol.

PS: Beast Inc Stickers are the best upgrade ever! :D

I run a 14b and 42" TSL's and beat the everliving crap out of it. Slam it on rocks, do what ever you want as long as you don't crush your diff cover or nail the yoke on a rock. 42's or 44's Mr. 14 bolt doesn't care..... Just my Web Wheelin 2 cents

But it's moot anyway.. This project will most likely never get past his yard.. He's had that Sammy well over 6 months and all that's been done is some rattle can, mirrors (which have no business on the outside of a rock rig), and one of those :gay: stickers

BEAST INC RULES!

Beast Inc.

Just out of curiosity...

---Inc.-abbreviation for "incorporated."

1. To unite (one thing) with something else already in existence
2. Formed into or organized and maintained as a legal
corporation: incorporate a business.

So my question is this: What does your business do?

Ive never seen any products stamped with a Beast Inc. label, receipts for parts or labor from Beast, or even a banner at a 4x4 event saying that Beast Inc. is a sponsor for the event.

I did however find a website for Beast Inc.

http://www.beastinc.ca/

Whoops, looks like you took a name thats copyrighted. In fact its been a Clothing and Embroidery shop out of California for years. To avoid sticky lawsuits you better go with somthing like "Beast Co." or "North American Beast Association " Crap, the N.A.B.A abbreviation is taken too:
http://www.naba.org/
maybe you can work out a deal with those butterfly people to share the name.

And if its not a company, but more a Club then why dont you hold some offroad events? When we start seeing Beast Inc. Sponsored trips to URE or a Beast Inc. shop on a street corner, we will respect it. -Chase

P.S.-what do i have to do to get into the club? the top of my windshield is naked.

Well, in all Seriousness, Beast Inc is something my friends and I started in High School, and it was just a club so we could go offroading. Since then Beast Inc has done a Mud Bog and a Uwharrie trip. I also kind of call it my "brand name" I guess since now that I have tools and know what I'm doing I have installed about 6 suspension lifts a couple body lifts and other random accesories for random people mostly friends. As far as copyrighting, way back when I first made it we never really thought about that, I guess if i ever want to seriously go public or whatever I'll have to look into that. PS: www.beastinc.net is my site never developed it though, just have a placeholder there, probably will eventually though.

To get into Beast Inc, no prob, I give people stickers If they say they want one or if I install something on their vehicles, usually I will get their Phone number when I do it so if we do go on a trip I can call everybody. If you want one I'll give you one  .

Ricky, everybody loved that Ford you showed up in and the horn was the topper! We finished that 10.25 into Mark's Jeep, it made that D60 look like a tinker toy when all was finished. I looks as stout or more than my 14B due to sheer size, he had already broke that D60 with his 44 Swamps and was nevous about it locking up again while driving to work or something.

The comment about 14B's,
I've run 14B's with 44's and 49's since around '88, thrown 13 rear driveshafts and split the Tcase in half but never broke the axle yet. But, my flanges are always slinging grease/oil. Yeee Haaaa!
