Cl find of the day

Part of me wants to call this moron up and tell him to lay off the tide pods, but I'd rather pass a deal on to someone who can use it.

A friend of mine actually had a rare 96 Wrangler, coil spring like a TJ but the seats and steering wheel looked like YJ. It was a non-AC truck, we tried to add AC but we tried parts from both styles but neither would bolt in without modifications.

Saw this on FB just now and had to share. I know y’all would appreciate it.

I think Chrysler was well known back in the day for this type thing. They would use left over parts from a previous production run on a new model.

no price and says make offer but will get all butthurt if the offer is not what he thinks it should be.

Plus it is a salvage title for what he says is the dent in the rear. That seems awful light damage to warrant a salvage title. Something he is hiding?

It's an 88 Jeep. Valued somewhere in the 1300 range by insurance I would expect. Body shop quote of even 800 total losses that thing. My 94 explorer was totaled over a fender, door lip, headlight, and park light.

If the damage happened to the truck while they owned it, and totaled it under their ownership, they've already been paid for it minus buyback (300ish) so they are just trying to get extra coin.

I bet you're at least a 0 light on that offer.
I was up front, tried not to big TOO big an ass. I was honest, but blunt, and said that with a salvage title insurance wouldn't cover the full worth of buying and fixing so I had to offer that to get in a range of not being upside down by the time I was done.
