Rock Corps 4X4 would like to thank the CNC 4Wheel Drive Club for the super stars that made the long trip from the Raleigh area to help out in clearing trails today.
Scott, Randal, Keith, Richard, Craig, Derek, Carl and Kevin. Your help today was awesome! You guys worked like dogs and it is much appreciated!
A class act crew for sure
Thanks so much from the Rock Corps 4X4 group!

Still some work to do, but shaping up nicely! Some stumps to cut lower, and a few trees that were guarded by some yellow jackets, and we are pretty much finished with the trails themselves. Although, there are some more to be cut in the future.
Next we are going to work on the parking area and the upper field, so we can schedule an event sometime in the near future.
I hope when you guys come up to ride we I will be off from work and have that weekend free so I can maybe join you all.

Yeah, that's a drop for sure, but doable in a long rig I think. What I want to see is something make it UP it!
I broke a drive shaft after you all left trying to make it up one hill. 2nd gear low range, no go, 2nd gear mid range, no go, 3rd gear mid rand, POW! I think that one is gonna be named Broken dreams, no one has made it up, and several have broke on it!

You're welcome & it was nice to meet y'all. Thanks again for lunch!
Glad we didn't find any of your local copperheads.

You guys are very welcome. We were glad to lend a hand. That place is going (is now) to be a lot of fun with a range of obstacles along with a great area for camping/parking.

Really had a lot of fun. Thanks again for the great lunch!

Next time I will make sure the spare chain for my saw is sharp. I went to change chains when we were finishing up that last trail, and the spare was duller than the one I had used up that day. :)

Chip - that hill you broke on - was it the steep climb where the track came off the mini-hoe earlier in the day?

Yep that would be the one! Brian would know, he was in there with me.

Strange thing about that hill, it just doesn't seem to be as bad as it is when you look at it. Of course, I tried to crawl it first,...NOT

Thanks guys for all the hard work it was appreciated.Hope you guys can come back up to ride soon:driver:
