Due to scheduling conflicts we are going to do our own workday at Uwharrie on Saturday, June 29. We will go through our adopted trail- Slab Pile. We will clean up any debris and/or trash and tend to any trail related issues. Then, we will go trail riding for the rest of the day. Meet at the Eldorado Outpost. Be ready to head to the trails at 9:30. (Tires aired down, swaybar disconnected, etc.)

    Eldorado Outpost
    4021 N Carolina 109
    Troy, NC 27371

Let us know if you can make it.

That sounds good. Let us know what we need to do to get the orange diamonds.

    Thanks,

Scott diamonds and trail numbers will be with Janet at arrowhead. Use common sense and mark both sides of the trail and arrows on corners etc etc...

I got the approval for the day off; my work gives me one 8-hour volunteer day a year, and I'm using it for this event. I look forward to meeting some folks from the area.

Looks like there may be a chance of a shower tomorrow. It will be welcomed- always good to cool things off and knock down the dust.

Well we had a great time, cleaned up slab pile and blocked off illegal trails..

I also found out that one wheel drive is not any fun on slippery trails :)

Thanks to all those that came to help out. We picked up a fair amount of trash. Thanks to King Shocks for supplying the trash bags.
