almost. was trying to pry one of the halves outta the tire on dismount and spoon slipped and ended up on my face.

got seats mounted today, not much else but alotta brainstorming on shifter , steering wheel, pedal, tunnel, and firewall design and location. did riecieve alil bling today tho.

oh, and sat in new seats and made bunches of full throttle vrooooom noises

the entire seat and seatbelt mounting system which will also be incorporated with rear half of tunnel/floor pan will be removable for greater acess for poweertrain work. tomorrow floor/firewall/shifters. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

got the tcase shifter mocked in place, and modular floor pan under seats finished.

also placed seats back in so i can design and mount trans shifter and a small switch tower/console between seats.

more tonight, and tomorrow, decided to extend my vacation by one more day.

alil lazy today, finished the shifter console, except for lid, didn't have a piano hinge handy.

thats right ben. in seated position, 4 lo, the shifters are under my knees. (i'm 6'4). in hi range the touch my hamstring alil but not uncomfortable ,so far. very easy to reach when strapped in.

got a few lil things done. nothing major; finished console lid minus welding the corners, got firwall tube tacked in, driverside firewall fitted, and steering column attached.

welding doesn't get any easier the further the build goes...

looks good matt! Im tellin ya its good to be lil guy like me, then ya can fit in all those tight spaces to weld haha! Im glad ya got the steering wheel in there too, i might drop by tomorrow and try out that drivers seat with my vroom vroom sounds! ha

rivets are temporary; waiting on a new nutsert riveter; btw the harbor freight and northern tool units were both junk after about 10 nut installs.

some progress today; floor done, tunnel done, shifter hardmounted, (later to recieve an aluminum surround.)

again, rivets are temporary

just a regular ol supension seat ehh?! ah but wait, just last night jeepn-jason installed some ass warmers, even tested them with the optima whilst brainstorming ideas on buggy

its not slowin down the car business, i got 4 leathers to do tomorrow and thursday, plus a few 12v jobs thrown in the mix.
