We're on 95 s,impromptu trip to Lake Gaston.
Near Richmond now.
I bet we've paseed 25 cops easy.
I've traveled many holiday weekends, never this bad.
Look out.

they are all over 540/440/capital from what I've seen today. G/F just called me and said they saw about a million on 95 going to sc. Gonna pray not to get popped on the way to the obx tomorrow.

85 from lex to high point there were hi po, county pigs everywhere.
52 to 40 from lex to WS three suburban hi po and two unmarked chargers (dark gray/black with only thin dash and grill lights

more state pigs have been running north/south of lex really heavy in their chargers and running air toward salisbury on sunny days

I saw a ton on 95 here in SC yesterday morning, especially here in Florence County. As early as 7 a.m. they were all over stopping the 'profiled' cars, often times seeing as many as 5 unmarked chargers at one pull-over.

hopefully they catch Gaffney's serial killer...
So my G-a and 3 aunts and 5 cousins can sleep at night.

Clayton PD had about five cars in different spots pulled this afternoon. All were mexican.....next week on the news for racial profiling....Good Job anyway

have seen signs b4 but never really figured it out....planes?helos? or is it those little boxes next to some ramps that make my fuzzbuster go crazy?

That's because they are not driving a jeep with 32s and 3.73 gears...they can actually exceed the speed limit:lol:

My guess would be aerial radar, but I could be wrong. Some highways alert that they use aerial radar.

When I was in Palm Springs, CA a couple years back you will be driving down the road and all of a sudden a helicopter will be riding right beside you radaring you.....Pretty awesome to see actually.

But not terribly practical use of finances/resources for sure!

Yeah, lets use a $million aircraft running $pricy a$$ fuel and an expensively trained pilot to round up speeding tickets...

I bet for the cost of 1 flight you could install a camera.

Here in MD, many of the highways now have radar cameras.
State legislature just approved going state-wide w/ it, they just clock you and mail a ticket. No point, $50 fine, includes a picture of your car.
They openly said it's about raising revenue, don't even bother veiling it under the auspice of "public safety"... esp since they don't bother to put up big signs or any notification of where teh cameras actually are.

I saw something on TV about the CAPD speedcopters.
IIRC they average 10-25 speeding tickets per hour all mailed to the vehicles owners.

went thru two checkpoints last night.
sober.
Hey they have to put all the places in the paper and online from what I hear. public information.
google isnt friend this morning - i can't find a link to the list.
yall be safe tonight

yeh i know in virginia they use helicopters. my dad had a heli get get him for no seat belt and 10 mph over the speed limit. how he knew he wasnt wearing a seatbelt.. ill never know.

Hell, we needed some on US 70 today. I was passed regularly by folks > 15 over. I coulda recovered the state surplus with the radar gun and a good ink pen.
