yep.
I search the NC ones even though I live 2 states away, particularly where my friends and family are. I've even had people pick stuff up for me and I get it when I next come down for a holiday.
 
Unless I'm on a tight schedule and can make time to stop I almost always buy/sell something when I'm on a trip.My poor wife hasn't been on a vacation in fifteen years or so where we weren't meeting somebody at some point during the trip.

I'll ask my wife "When are we going to see your parents again?" and she replies "Where are the parts you wanna buy?" :lol:
 
My wife knows if I suggest we take my truck on a trip versus her GC Overland that I have some CL stops along the way planned.

Mine either. She knows how I "shop" and that I certainly don't limit myself to 100 mile radius.

Found my last motorcycle in Ft Myers Florida (I'm a picky bastard) and flew down and had the seller pick me up at the airport to ride it back (did 877 miles in 11hrs in the rain)

Found my truck in Indiana. Did the same, flew up, had the dealer meet me at the airport, inspected the truck, then drove it home.

I'm not afraid to travel to get something specific. Haven't been burned (YET) because I usually have all the info I need before pulling the trigger.
 
My BIL sells some stuff but he will not meet or try to accomidate the buyer in any way,but if he wants to buy something and the seller wont at least bring it and meet him half way he wont buy it.
