Finally got around to figuring out my carnage report.

Locker failure is where it started. Something let the cross pin start sliding in and out. I assume crosspin got in the pinion gear and chewed the end of the crosspin off and damaged the pinion teeth near the end. No damage to ring gear but there was a decent amount of metal on the magnet.

All of that resulted in the purchase of an eaton locker and all associated required installation parts including a new gear set.

That puts the repair damn near costing what the trip did.

Worth it? Damn right.
