Custon Beer tap handle

Wanted a personalized beer tap handle for the fridge. Looked around the garage at what would be cool and saw an old parts tiller. pulled out the piston, cut the bearing off and welded on a nut. Now to decide if I should weld the connecting rod to the piston or leave it floppy. And if I should paint it or leave it raw with a clear coat.

Nice id leave it raw maybe get it pinstriped and then cleared. maybe have the brew you drink striped on the top

Maybe pull the rings and paint them then clear coat.

I home brew so the beer on tap will change. Might can figure out some interchangeable label for the top of the piston.
