so my dad called me this morning and told me that he had a fire on his carport early this morning. so i came up and checked it out. we had a metal shed (prefab from factory) and it had alot of stuff under it that caught on fire. here is the list.
-86 venture 16ft bass boat.(bought brand new and in IMMACULATE shape with proly 20 rods and a HUGE tackle box with depth finders.
-00 kawasaki vulcan 1300 mint
-burnt half of a 91 mazda miata the was in great shape.
-small pull behind motorcycle pop up camper used twice.
lost the shed, burnt the siding on the house. (about 3ft away from shed), busted a window on the side there as well.
as of right now, the boat is gone. its burnt almost all up. trailer is salvageable, the bike is totalled, and the miata is possible totalled. it caught the top, drivers side back, back bumper, tail lights and stuff is all melted. along with the small camper, its toast. also a ton of tools, air compressor and etc.
this is so sickening cuz it was gone in less then 8 min. and it all started from a short in a electrical box that was a light switch on the shed. the smell is absolutly horrindous since its all gone. the boad was hooked to his 91 silverado and it burnt the talgate and tail lights. he is ok but got his feet burnt from the heat of the aspault. he tried to save it but the heat was so hot he couldn't and basically stood and watched his "toys" burn.
