I was working on the jeep the other day... bleeding the air out of the cooling system when my 3yr old pulled her barbie jeep up and said daddy i need to fix it. (battery was dead) so she went through my tools and started wrenching on it.:D

HAHA, Awesome. I hope my kid does that one day.

She won't be wrenching as much as you cause she has a jeep and you drive a Toyota !

Oops. I didn't look that close. I'm the schmuck this time!

Here's a pic of my oldest, probably almost 3 yrs old....car must not have been handling right, had to pull in the pits and check it out ...

Whenever my son sees me working on something, he pulls out his toy drill, his tape measure, toy hammer and/or toy saw depending on what job and tools I have out. The other day I had seamless gutters installed on the house and they were getting a kick out of him watching them install them. Each time they would pull out their drills, he showed them his. When they pulled a tape measure, he measured something too.

They were most impressed at my "Project Supervisor". He made sure the job got done well!

awesome..

I told my son last night we ( him and I ) are going to work on the RV this weekend and you would have thought I offered him a candy bar, ice cream and a movie he was so excited..

I love working on stuff with my kids.. and they love it also..

Having your kids work with you is awesome. But even better was the look on my daugters face, she is 14, when i let her drive the trailblazer while cleaning up the rally stage we worked a few weeks ago.

cheers to everyone and there little ones working on cars together.

Yea she loves helping me with my jeep. In may we are having another lil girl! Ill have two helpers helping. I can't wait to take them out. I can't keep my girl off my 4wheeler now so its gona be some fun years to come :)

That's awesome!

Nothing makes me happier when my little man (8 YO) comes out in the garage and helps on the BKO!!!

I really envy you guys. My daughter has helped me out a bit and shows interest. She is 7 now and has helped me out in the garage here and there since she was little. She usually ends up playing with toys, jumping rope, or hula hooping after a bit, but at least she hangs out with me. My boy, who is now 10 on the other hand... he could care less. I have to drag him out there to keep me company even when I'm working on something for him. My wife said that since I've been deployed he has talked a lot about helping me out, so my fingers are crossed he shows interest when I get home. I'm not holding my breath though. :(
