Seem to be a lot of the 2.3l Ecoboosts doing just fine in the Broncos (and a bunch of other fords).

But you have to throw another $2000 on top of that crate motor for a computer setup;

Aren’t those the worst of the eco boost motors?

Even if - it has 10k miles. The problems are typically showing up 80-100k.
I guess if you plan to do a LOT of wheeling, like 65k miles worth, it would be a concern.

You can get an Intercooler and air box cheaper than 2k, the computer and wiring and turbo oiling are all in the kit, honestly a 4.0 radiator would cool that thing just fine with some random silicone and couplers and a cheap fmic you could have a brand new drivetrain cheap and use a 231 or 241 with an sye for x ballon light buggy build

I’m hearing unconfirmed rumors that Oreillys has their duplicolor cans for $1. Supposedly if you see full price on the shelf the computer will knock the price down at check out.

80k miles in DD conditions, not being redlined constantly, neutral drops, glowing red hot and dropping off into a frozen puddle on the way to rail trail that comes half way up your door, using creek water for antifreeze, and operating at angles that would make a stripper jealous.
