So this guy calls me on Last wed and tells me hey I heard you have a truck that you may want to sell.

ME: I say ya I have a '84 Pickup and either the tranny is bad or torque converter but I have not had time to mess with it.

Guy: says can I come look at it.

Me: Sure come over at 7pm tonight

Guy: shows up looks at it and tell me he will give me $1500 for it as it sits.

Me: Great come get it this weekend..

Saturday I get a call and he says I will be there Sunday to pick it up...

Sunday: Guys calls says he is gonna borrow a tow truck from a freind and come get it..
then he DROPS the BOMB.
he says I be there with $200 today and I will pay you $100 each week until it is paid off..

WHAT THE HELL.. you told me $1500 and never mention anything about weekly payments..

So I say DO I LOOK LIKE A BANK... HELL NO
so I ask him you want me to let you take the truck today for $200 and you promise to pay me the rest over time each week.... YA RIGHT.

So I told him I need it all today or the truck stays here.

Well Guess what I still have the truck

sounds more like a wannabe thief to me...

Offer him payments.. 1, @ $1500.

Or, yeah, I'll take those payments, with one slight change. Once it's paid off, you can have the title, and come pick up the truck. Till then, it stays right here. More of a layaway than a loan..

oh man I can not even imagine how pissed I would have been had i towed it over there and then he offered me $200.. I would probably be in Jail...
