Needed to replace the tires on the Dodge before we got into anything more slippery this winter, so headed to Tire King in Morrisville who set me up with a set of General Grabber AT 2's for about $350 less than others (even with "discounts").

They're very similar to BFG A/T's, so am looking forward to seeing how they perform. Won't be doing any rock crawling in the beast, but I suspect I won't be spinning the tires in the rain anymore!

Now to sell the old rubber...

Old Toyos just replaced

Another set of tires/wheels that came with truck

if i remember correctly, when i ran BFGs on my dodge.....rain+traction ended in a negative equation.

Yeah, I've got them on my 2500 CTD and they aren't good at all in the rain. Hope they work for you though.

?? I have BFG ATs on my 4Runner and never really had a problem in the rain

The Nitto Terra Grappler has been the best tire I have ever used as far as all terrain, laod range E, and rain. Still waiting for snow (maybey again oneday) to test that.
I have a thread in Tow Rig section to see what I have been towing...

I run the same tire, and i lovem. They are a lil soft, hopefully they will last.

Well, they're not actually BFGs, so we'll have to see how they do. I liked the Nittos too, but being basically broke, the lower price was hard to pass up. The guys at the shop worked their tails off balancing these too, over an hour on the dynamic balancer (had to spin one tire about 180* on the rim), so they ride smoooooooth... :)
