Congrats, you drove a HEMTT.

I was thinking maybe more along the lines of a Samurai with that stupid dual wheel kit you always see in the back of 4wheeler magazines

Bwhahahaaaaaaa, the one I ran in my old full size bronco exploded. Shoulda used green locktite and dipped the bolts in salt water before installing. :D Never could get that damn thing to stay tight, when it worked tho, it fawking rocked. I think a better crossmember setup woulda helped.

That atlas is badass but fawk, I dont tie that much up into a entire rig, much less a transfer case.

Admin/Mod have indicated there has not been any whining or complaining. You will see a mod or admin take action if any is needed and in this case none is needed.

No shit...i was just going to ask for pics on the trail..not to hate..but to congratulate. I've seen a duce and a half going up trail 4 with a load of rock to "pave" sections of the trail and I've seen a guy drive a backhoe up gaurdrail, but I've never come across one of those on the trail.

Well, since it's legal for road use, I'd bet it's no wider than a duece/5 ton, and though the length would be a PITA, I hereby volunteer to take one up all the trails at Tellico.. that would be a BLAST!!

P.S. the engines are 450hp, not 1000. :flipoff2:

Can I ride bitch? :smokin:

I can't quite wrap my mind around what the recovery would be like. Fly Borilla in from Texas, that fawker'd have that thing so hung they'd have to cut it up to get it out.

My buddy I work with drives a HEMTT wrecker in the reserves. What a recovery vehicle. Has like a 15ton winch and a boom out back that will pick up a class 8 road tractor. We were talking about it at lunch and he was explaining how it had yaw cylinders to help it worm its way out of a mud bog.

The HEMTT was without a doubt the vehicle I most enjoyed driving while in the Army.. They always wondered why a flyboy was always volunteering to make parts runs.

But they have lots of air-actuated goodies that go "Pfwheeeee" when you shut them off.. that's GOT to be good for something! :huggy:
