Douchebaggery, Crocs, and other Footwear Thread

Which would you rather do?

  • Wear Crocs

  • Wear Flip Flops

  • Wear Pink Silk Boxers with Bunnies on them

  • Whine about people who warned you your truck was too big for the trails before you bought it

  • Wear man shoes and socks always, even to shower and bed

Flip flops are way better than hot sweaty feet/shoes on a hot day. I wear them around the house and around town in summer..........just be careful w stairs, wet grass, asphalt and inebriation............and never try to run in flip flops :shaking:
 
I have found crocs are great for backpacking - taken as a change of shoe once you get to the campsite. They weigh virtually nothing and make a nice relief from the boots around the campfire. Smell pretty bad if you get too close though.

But out in public - a sign you have given up on life.

Socks and shoes/boots 100% of the time for me

Those are the only two choices for pants? Pleated or so skinny they don't fit properly? Where is this magical store with such badly fitting clothes? :D

No skinny pants here, unless we're talking about very different types of skinny pants. Skinny pants are for high school and college students. And hipsters.

Are the jeans pleated too?

I will chime in. I wear flip flops every chance I can get in the summer time, I even have 'nice' ones that i wear out to dinner. I think flip flops are generational, my dad has never owned a pair while all of my friends my age wear them all the time. I also wear crocs, especially when I might be getting wet, as they don't absorb water. Yes crocs are hideous, but yes they are comfortable and last a heck of a long time. I guess my footwear choice comes down to comfort; I wear dress clothes every day to work including dress shoes, so once I get home, I am all about comfort.
 
I'm not reading all 4 pages(so far) of this.

All I know is that when I'm not at work(dress shoes), running(run shoes), biking(bike shoes), working in the shop(boots), it is CROCS. I've gone through like three pair. Actually have worn them out.
 
a MAN is useless in crocs/flipflops/sandals. he cant get traction, run, push, lift, shove, get traction in a hurry. wear damn lace up shoes or boots. dammit this is ridiculous. flip flops are for public showers, whichever one you go in. but if you wear crocs, you damn well better be going to the ladies shower. we went to Hawaii again for our anniversary and I love the place but its a whole state of non shoe tying mofos out there. sun bakes the brain so bad they have to wear flip flops. that's the sound of 'I've given up on life' = flipflopflipflop might as well suck directly on the gubment teet

These poll results are all over the board. Somebody is not being persuasive enough here. I demand a recount just to be sure.
