Stoked about the next race/event at DPG... next weekend...

Curious who's coming out? Whos camping for the whole weekend?
It looks like some of my coworkers are coming down with me, that should be... interesting

I'm sure all the racers are scrambling to get their piles ready, i know I am... up 'til 2am putting the suspension all back together...

Anybody planning a big cook-out or anything?
I fugure the weather should be awesome, finally warming up but not "bug season" yet...

No amount of scrambling could get my rig together for the race like i have been hoping :( I plan to volunteer, and will likely camp there all weekend, even though I live close by.

I'm thinking about riding down for the day on Saturday to support Tony (RenegadeT) in the green #666 XJ racing A-class.

As for the racerig... still scrambling to get it back to where it was before the Fall Brawl. I plan to be @DPG Friday afternoon, maybe roll out Sat night if feasible.

Stoked? hell yeah

I was just there and didn't hear anything about up coming events. Unless your talking about another DPG? Somebody post some info...

Dude now I feel bad for not coming and helping on the 27th. DPG was busy though and Chad for the BDB put on a show.

I think its the 20th, I saw Dave's post and was like Oh sh*t!

What's wrong with my post?
This weekend = the one for this week, 3/13
Next weekend = the next one, 3/20

... right?

We're planning to roll in by lunchtime Friday, splitting sunday.

Hey man, don't feel bad. it would take a team of people working full weeks to get it done by the race. I grossly underestimated the amount of work I had left and setbacks I would see.

I still would help out just let me know when you working on it. If I don't have to work that weekend I'll come on over.

Someone should post up the flyer...my scanners broke!
The flyer is posted in the ECORS section but here it is for everyone that doesn't visit there...

??? Is there more to the DPG than we saw at the open ride? How many acres do they have?

You saw it all, but that is the beauty of this race. This is probably one of the best possible venues for spectators to see the race action!

Do they race over the rocks or just around them? How long do they race?

we'll be utilizing all of the obsticles plus some of the field, some of the cut-over, etc. and end up with almost a 2 mile long course :)

Not sure how many acres there are.

I bet thats a sick race... Is there enough time to cross the track between the rigs?

We will work on a crossing area so spectators can access most of the track. But, it will be manned and will only be open if there is enough distance between vehicles to be safe. Typically, there is a good distance between the vehicles that crossing times won't be delayed more than a minute or 2.
