This weekend Rob (@rockcity) and I were talking, catching up on the family, work, life...wheeling plans, beer, grill recipes and college savings accounts. You know the normal middle age guy talk.

Many members of NC4 originally found this community through the ECORS series which we ran for a few years. Each of us had the honor to meet dozens of lifelong friends through this endeavor.

Sadly life took over and in 2014 ECORS came to be no more. We've held on to the name, trademark, website, etc etc etc with the thought that maybe, one day...

But in addition to the business tools we've also held on to a lot of "stuff"...and stuff takes up space. Neither of us has had the heart to throw some of this out, even if it wasn't being actively used.

But frankly, ECORS was about family and friends and fellowship as much as it was about racing. And we got to talking this weekend and I suspect there might be some folks out there that would like some "artifacts" memory of their time and memories. So we decided that we wanted to share some of these memories with the folks who really owned the series.

Our racers, fans, sponsors and friends.

But how do you pick your favorite child? Or favorite friend?
Now you are just playing favorites. And you cant sell this stuff because...well that is sort of pretentious and feels cheesy.

So what to do...

Well lets start here.

If you attended a race from #3 to the very end you saw this. Racer chased it. True to our reputation one of these was easy to get, the other much harder and much rarer to obtain.

We are starting off BIG.

But...how, what, why, where the questions any good 2 year old knows oh so well.

Earlier I mentioned friendship and people met through this series. One of the people who I doubt I'd have ever crossed paths with were it not for ECORS who left an impact on my life and in fact the whole community here was Scott Fields. Scott, as most know, is battling some major health issues right now. So we have decided now is the time to do this as there is a deserving cause for any money that can be raised. Scott has given much to many in this community and we want to help give some back.

Again more to come on this, but lets start here.

We are going to "auction" off the Start and Finish banner from ECORS.

Please note adorable banner holding models are not included.

This is not a raffle, not a drawing and not a sale. This is a "silent" auction style bid.
These will be auctioned separately.
The auction will run until the benefit ride. It will be tracked here online. Upon confirmation of your donation you will get the banner you won. To get some excitement going I am naming the opening bid at $25/ea. Which I think is well below the final number we should see.

Bid increments are $5. Whole dollar amounts. Whatever amount you bid this will go 100% to the cause. Some logistics are still being worked out but we plan to have these on site to give out the day of the ride.

Bid by posting in this thread.
name-bid amount- which banner you are bidding on.

We have some other items as well those will be handled differently. Details to follow. By the way, we did not find @1983Bronco 's trophy. We did check.

Thanks for you attention and your help.

Please share this wherever and get as many eyes on it as possible

$100 on the trailer :flipoff2:

$150 for FINISH

I do plan to be at the benefit ride and can deliver the banners. If you can’t make the ride, UPS delivers M-F :)
Is my trophy still in the mail?

Can I bid on one of dylans trophys if he has any?

I just want to point out that I'm pretty sure this has already raised more money than any ECORS race did :D
