EDC folding knives

I do - but its a tattoo.

Thats not gonna do the job.

I gave up hardware on my fingers long ago after a couple near-losing-a-digit experiences. Plus it was cheaper to get the tattoo than have it resized as I got fatter.
I'm in the same boat. Mine is tattoo'd as well.

But had I known how much it would hurt, I wouldn't have. :flipoff2:

(Previously I thought my shin piece was the most painful tattoo I'd ever gotten done.)

Interesting. This is my only tattoo... honestly I didn't think it was as awful as I expected for a thing right on bone and w/ such receptor density.
But its also a very simple design and only took a few minutes.
The artist did not like it bc its also one of those places the skin moves around a lot.

I'm in the bathroom multitasking... but you get the idea. ;)

I was told not to bother getting the underside tattoed because of the wear there. But in the first picture you can see how its already worn the sides off some.

My daughter's "friend that is a boy" asked me a couple weeks ago if I draw it on every morning.

Also, I'm starting to get old man hands. Apparently my soft, cushy office job isn't being gentle on my body like it should.

Someone get the lotion!

I got mine for our 15th anniversary years ago and had to have it redone within a year. It faded and looked terrible. After having it redone its been great.

I just bent the living snot out of my carry handle on my Skallywag Black Water.

It hung up somehow on a movie theater seat and when I stood my amazingly large and powerful body up... it bent out to a 45 degree angle.

-sigh-

I'll take it off tomorrow and bend it back, but after wearing it in the pool a couple of times - the edge has also started to rust.

Time for something else I think.

I pulled out my old Applegate-Fairbairn folder last night and wore it.

It was nice.

Like having an old friend tucked into your gym shorts. :D

Annnnddd.... after 16 years... I lost it last week.

No idea where. The clip was bent open and loose, and it slipped out of my shorts like one of Grandpa's balls.

I ordered this last night.

I've never carried, or even held a CIVIVI knife before. But I've been tempted for a while. And it was 15% off. :)

Cheap S&W S.W.A.T spring assisted opening. Been carrying this everyday for at least 4 years and abusing the crap out of it, Other than the finish being worn off it just wont quit. Bought a second one in case I lose this one, Best knife I have ever owned.

Got this one for my Dad's 67th birthday last weekend.

(At the time it was 55% on sale!)

He'd been using a Coldsteel Voyager for the past almost 20 years. And I figured it was time for him to get something new for the next 20 years.

Good to see that Coldsteel didn't entirely go down the toilet after Lynn Thompson sold it off.

I'm really enjoying my CIVI blade, but I may keep an eye on this one to drop in price again and grab one for myself.
