Electricians on here?

And that occurs AFTER the regulator.

THIS is why you have a 2psi/5psi meter when running equipment of any size (i.e. gen/boiler/com kitchen) and not run w.c. delivery pressure

A call to Greg at PNG is all it takes for a meter changeout to high pressure. Line sizing problem solved. Even on retro.

Just for clarity in my above.
The 6'-8' is after the regulator. In the installation I referenced above the Regulator can't be located any closer to the gen "because"

Now, in my early 30's, I'm about 25% graybeard, still know everything, and people actually believe half the crap I say.

After 10 years of engineering straight out of college, I got burnt out and tired of contractors telling me I did not know how things actually work out in the field. So I left engineering and got into Contracting for 5 years. After that I came back with a new knowledge and appreciation of what actually takes place in the field when you're trying to install what some dumb-ass architect or engineer has placed on drawings. I think that's also where the grey hair came from too

We got a 1mw cummins generator at work. That thing is a work of art.

If you work where I think you work, I sold it in a past life...

The 1MW really isnt that impressive. The 3MW on the other hand....is down right monstrous.

Yes and yes. I think we may have discussed that before.. But being that its just a backup.. we have a 905mw generator just inside the building. Now that's a monster. [emoji106]
