Heard of Erick Church? He's a country Music star. His family was trying to keep this a secret from him, but, it's no longer a secret LOL so I thought I would post up some about the build that I know of and have seen.
Two different people are working together on this build

Specs, as I know of them.
CJ-7 Frame
Engine 5.3
Trans 4L60E
T case Dana 300
Front Diff Dana 44
Rear diff 8.8 with Ford 9" outers

All Drive train is by Minton's, frame blasted and painted by Churches

Look for this Jeep in an upcoming Music Video on CMT!
Probably some stuff I left out, maybe David can chime in and add to this

great.. my 4l60e is from a '95 .. what year is yours?
I also see you do not haave the protective shield on side of 4l60.. maybe I coudl take that off also

anyway it looks very nice and so freaking clean.. nice work
 
This donor is a 06 so you should be ok. If you still have clearance issues you can hammer and dolly in the shaft area of the transmission pan because there is room to push it back some.

Never heard of Eric Church but that Jeep is looking sweet. Nice work David, cannot wait to see the progress.

I'm kinda of curious why it's not linked on coilovers.
 
Eric Church is one of the very few modern country singers thats worth a shit. Everyone else now-days is fake pop-country. Eric is my favorite because he is actually country.

Great looking CJ.
 
What I do know is:
The french cut place on front down bar, is to clear hard top doors
The retro ac underdash unit, is also the heat
The big hole in the dash, will be covered by a retro style instrument cluster.
The dash is covered with leather
