-Note - i ended up tubbing back the fenders a lot more to clear the 37 and 38 TSL's that i ran later. now they are cut back to the body mount.

built these bumpers at Chase Perry's house

the IFS got so bad that with the suspension jacked up in the air i could jog one tire a good 3" without moving the other one. time for that to go

bought this from RK, shaved it, braced steering stops

Stuck it in there with a Trail Gear SAS kit right before graduation. skipped my last week of class senior year and when to tellico with the yotaman crew. also installed 63" chevy rears, did not equal the same lift as my 3" sas kit

now swapping in D60's front and rear, adding to the cage, doing a FROF style tcase crossmember, moving gas tank to bed, new bumpers, winch and these sick half doors

really my goal is now to make the truck bulletproof so i can drive it, wheel it, and drive it home. also, fix a lot of the booty fab that i did when i was younger and more inexperienced. more pics to come as i get more done

so i went out yesterday to get a cooling hose for the F250 and one thing led to another.....$500 later i got this in my driveway. its an 85 C&C K30, so the front is DRW hubs. anyone want to trade for some SRW hubs?

somewhere along the line i got dual cases with a sweet crossmember built by our very own YOTAMAN aka steve. also built a cage, decided it was ugly, built another one last year, all 1.75x.120 DOM. also drilled and tapped steering box, got hydro assist with a 1.5"x8" ram limited to 6" for the toyota axle.

how did you manage to pick up that chevy for $500. i have been trying to find a beat up truck with some axles under it for cheap but cant score one anywhere

Oh, what a day. right after i posted this disaster struck. i feel like an idiot for what happened cause it almost crushed me. i was jacking up the rear diff to remove the tires and the truck rolled off the wood stands. my fault, the driveway has a pretty good slope. anyway, we worked hard all day and this is what i have to show for it

raining....at least it held off until we were done. started raining right after we went inside

wow, I was looking at the pics last night, especially the wood blocks, wondering how safe that was. Good to hear no one was hurt :huggy:

Those are some awsome jack stands......didn't you call me a redneck for using some jack stands like that when you bought those tires from me?...lol

yea i think yall had something similar :flipoff2:
for the record, people that have helped or sold me stuff for this build:
Jeff
Chase Perry
Josh Gardener
Josh Walsh
Steve
Riley Felver
Aaron Dixon
Zach Dixon
Will Carter
Donovan Phillips
RK
Jason
Steve Beckmeyer
and some others i cant remember....

To be honest man I was sitting at the computer calling you an idiot for the blocks. I did the exact same thing years ago and laid a tj flat on her ass. Just learn the lesson and don't do it again......could be your head next time

anyone have a HF coupon code? i need to order some of those tall 12 ton jack stands

pics from this weekend. front hangar is fully burned in, shocks are now mounted, still waiting on my steering. dont know if i mentioned it but im running the stock rear springs from this truck up front with a 2 other rear leaves mixed in. shackle angle is pretty good i think. has about 2" of uptravel in the front, need to get some bumpstops still
