Just wondering, I know you guys post a lot of stuff like this, but would be cool to see what you've got.
My older son Chase said we really need to build more stuff together, so we're in the process of building a batting cage for him in the back yard. We're starting off with just a simple area for him to practice pitching in, it is going to be a 10x10 cube that is going to have netting on three sides and the ceiling. Basically a big backstop that keeps him from having to chase balls in the woods when he misses his small pitching target. Eventually we'll expand it into a 55x14x12 full cage.
Both my boys also convinced me yesterday to bring my old Blazer into the workshop at the house. It is my first car, a 1986 S10 Blazer. I stopped driving it daily back in 2006 and it has pretty much just been sitting ever since. Haven't even started it in about two years and it has just been sitting in the yard covered in crap with flat tires. Well, put the jump box on it and it fired right up, drove it into the shop. They are very excited about it. My older son Chase is 9 and younger son Jacob is 6. They are ready to get dirty on it. We're going to try and carve out a little time each week to work on it.
No pics of the cage yet, the stuff should be here today and when we get a dry afternoon we'll work on getting it built.
But the Blazer, sad little thing is finally out of the elements.
