Folding pocket knives

IMHO, Kershaw is the best bet going.
All things considered; price, edge, durability ... your just can't beat them.

I have one that was cheap ... $514.00.
The knife was 14, the rest was the trip to Smokey Mtn Knifeworks.
I occasionally run it across a steel to keep it sharp.

If you have one you don't like .... that's your own asphalt for buying a serrated edge.

I did a thing.

And bought a Winkler.

Top - TOOR Serpent T. (Also for sale.. -winkwink-)

Bottom - Winkler Shadow Strike.

After going through some expensive $150ish knives from Scallywag... that @Ron warned me about....

I bought a $50 CIVIVI blade.

Worth every penny.

Really happy with it over the past year... Wearing it meow.
Since it's a folding knife thread... an update.

Belt Clip came loose around 6 months in. I put some locktite on it and it's good to go. I really should start making that a requirement on all knives I buy. Just go ahead and expect the little screws to come loose and locktite 'em.

As for the blade, still carrying on strong.

I'm a weirdo. So when I go the pool or river, I just slip it into my swimtrunks. Did that about two dozen times so far, no effect on the blade. No noticeable rust, no degeneration of lock or opening mechanism.

Good blade.

10/10.
