Well, I'm officially an addict.
I just picked this gem up for a whopping $300. The guy I got it from was just about to take it to the scrap yard. I couldn't let it happen. 345 runs, Eaton Positraction rearend, I-beam front axle, very little rust.
My plans are to clean it up, get the engine running and tuned, freshen up the transmission, address the little bit of rust, make sure all the electricals are good, convert it to 4wd and run 36's.
I plan to do exactly what I did to my C1300. I will use Ford axles and transfercase from an early to mid 70's F250. It was such an easy swap that I can't wait to get started.
On to the pics;
This may take a awhile as I work out of town all week and will be for the next 2 years at least. I'll try my best to have it road ready quickly.
