boy i sure would feel safer knowing you guys are on it! :flipoff2:
, its a joke, me and justin were there at his dorm that night talking to everyone anyway trying to find someone else. and everyone talks about everything like that that happens, so eventually if you ask around you might find out. prolly not.

and also ricky you gotta remember, not everyone on campus likes trucks like ours. some types of people get so pissy whenever they see lifted vehicles or anything dirty, and might be stupid enough to slit 10ply tires. remember they even had an article in the school paper about "Those Z71 trucks that drive through campus that are too tall and whose pipes are too loud" -haha it feels good to be called out like that-ive only seen maybe 2-3 other z71's on campus that are loud n tall.

Granola munchers saved up some of their weed money and bought a knife...

Not raggin on you guys or anything, but, when I was in college (at A&T no less) I had a POS I drove to classes for just this reason.

Is there a NEED to have a decent vehicle at college? I don't know about you guys, but I've NEVER felt comfortible leaving a DECENT vehicle out in a parking lot overnight.

Maybe you guys haven't ever had issues to raise your concerns before..but consider this a "wake up call" if you will.

You can't have nice stuff and not expect someone else to try to "take you down a notch"

Yeah, it's messed up, but thats life. Hence why I won't be having a stereo in my jeep or anything tempting to steal left in it. Granted I won't be away from it long, but I don't want to have it parked outside of a store I "run in for just a minute" and have someone jack it because it doesn't have a top.

Sorry it happened. Now go find a 4 door POS you don't mind bangin up to keep at school!

Yea somebody just slashed 3 of my tires in the wood hall parking lot :kaioken: :kaioken: :kaioken: :kaioken:. I have no idea why and can't think of anyone I've pissed off recently, and the gay thing is that i walked into my dorm at 1:45am took a shower my roomate comes in at lik 2:15 and says dude there's something wrong with your truck I walk out and one tire is flat and the other is still hissing and my spare is flat. Anyway I'm just really pissed cause 40"tall tires are very expensive. The cop was pretty cool about it but unfortunatly its slim to none that he'll figure out who did it. I'm just hopin insurance will cover this but I don't know if they'll cover 40" tall tires. Aight im done, but if anyone hears anything let me know . . . :uzi: :uzi:

I lived in wood hall years ago, and had vandalism to my CJ (radio stolen one year, pee'd in another). Also had friends unload their groceries in the middle of some guy shooting at his ex-girlfriend. (Who then ran him over, and neglected to tell the police he was still around, just under her car). I knew other folks with stock pickups that had garbage in them every morning. I kept the CJ pretty stripped, and set it up to be difficult to drive off (left t-case in Front low, with the hubs disengaged.

You have a drive a big target on a college campus. It's not right, but that's just the cost of showing off. If you have an alarm, and it goes off regularly, then you were an even bigger target.

The best part about living offcampus is having a better gauge on what is happening to my jeep.

And the best part about being in mechanical engineering at UNCC is that we pretty much have our own building with its own parking lot, so at least half the people there feel the same way about their vehicles.

what buick century? my old maroon one didnt find its way to you did it?

there are jerks out there who don't NEED a reason to screw someone else's stuff up, don't even care WHOSE stuff it is. They just love to screw other people's stuff up for a laugh.

Especially when they think no one can or will ever CATCH them at it and impress upon them why they shouldn't have...

On the other hand, it's one reason I bought a Jimmy that was already a bit beat-up.
