fullwidth xj ,39.5 tsl's

Nice xj and tow rig too! All you other guys are a bunch of lift snobbs! Damn kids and their low riders. LOL :D

I did like the comment about "don't get stuck under a bridge" hehe

95% of our bridges down here have water under them ,so unless this thing is on a barge i think he's safe

why are yall bustin his chops?

quite a few people have vouched for him in saying its steady..doesnt appear to of ever been rolled..so it looks like he knows what he is doing..

please......

<----------------BUST CHOPS HERE.

i think i just have a sign on me or something. i know some people don t like bigger jeeps and like to keep them low and wide. but i went a different rout and tried to build something that had enough flex to handle 39's. when the front maxxis out......the tire rubs the fender and same for the rear. i actually need this much lift to clear the tires without chopping up or hacking the body(and i dont want to d o that).....i dont mind trimming a little.the jeep is very stable . i run a modified stock sway on the street...and nothing on the rear..and i drive this to my work 2 or 3 times a week.there are no track bars front or rear............you can hit a bump or pothole in the road going 55 and it handles like a stock jeep. it is straped at all for corners and if i didn t have that then...........yes...wait for it.........it would ROLL,TOPPEL OVER,FLIP,GET STUCK UNDER BRIDGE,and all that other stuff on the first trail.....without a doubt.but all in all this site rocks and i still 4 wheel.................but now i'm looing for a rollcage......:)

i used to be all about big jeeps, i mean hell look at my name. to each his own. i just ended up seeing too many competition buggies at some point and realized i wanted to do what they did one day. heck if i could afford some 47" ltbs or some 49" iroks i sure as hell would put them under something and drive it around

well atleast you can take it like a man and laugh about it :)

plus we never said we did not like it.. I bet 99% of us in this thread do like it.. but yes must of us like to crawl rocks so we like them low..

just leave the lift like it is and throw some 44s on it, lol.

I like the looks of it, and they do seem to build them a little bigger by the coast.

I do however like the looks of something a little lower, with a big tire.

For example, here is a YJ on 40's.

It might take a little more work though...:flipoff2:

I think it was called project acrophobia or something

Sorry, I should have posted the link too.
TEENYcar and Project Acrophobia (fear of heights for the less enlightened)
He did a ridiculous amount of work to keep it that low, but you get the idea.
I want lower mine about an inch and go up to a 39 or so from a 35.

make sure to bring back some pictures

To the OP, i would love to see pics of that snorkel in a functional situation, you'd have to be in what about 4 feet of water to be above the stock airbox? And to whoever posted the link to project acrophobia, thank you for taking two hours of my life away looking at all those pages...and UglyJeepOffRoad, thank you for insulting everyone on this forums intelligence with the definition, give yourself a cookie for knowing what it meant.
