So a man-cave is certainly on the list of priorities of most men with aspirations of winning the lottery.

I'm not sure how this person come into their "fortune" but it should have been taken away from them before they ever broke ground. I know many of you don't do Facepage so I'll post some of the pictures here. But here is the link for all 32 pics of this abortion of design and actual TASTE.

It starts OUT impressive:

Did you notice there were only 2 condensing units? Likely under 5 ton at that. Just keep that in mind. Yes it's Iowa, and no not Florida, but even still. Pay attention

We'll move to the garage area now...still impressive

OK so where are the TOOLS

Well DUH.. they have their own room! Complete with lounge chairs. I guess so your buddies can heckle you while you look for that 10mm

gg23.jpg

OK so this room opens up to the "garage" right?

gg12.jpg

Well NO...you have to walk thru one of the 37 "lounges" in this house (just wait) and past his corvette display that he's currently storing his camper shell on in order to get to the vehicle you're working on. I think he needs golf kart storage in this "tool room" instead of lounge chairs to commute tools for tool runs back and forth.

Lets move onto the various "lounges" (continued)

So this room is in the peak of the roof....see if you can find ANY air distribution vents

Good thing there are fans

OK lets take a second to recognize, that this dude has a "workout" room the size of a large master closet, but yet has a racquetball/basketball/volleyball COURT in his house!

Now, lets move onto the "sunroom" or is it storage for chairs? or a dining room?

Whatever it is it's a sweltering HELL. I mean look at the fan blades?

gg25.jpg

Now lets look at "living spaces"

gg5.jpg

You would think there was NO INPUT from a woman whatsoever by the clear lack of interior design....but look close at the place mats. She at least was allowed ONE touch in the living area

If Hugh Heffner and Prince had a love child, THIS would be his poon palace:

Hey Sponge-Bob...I found patrick!!! Here's the only other room the wife was allowed to have any say whatsoever. (see candle next to tub)

gg18.jpg

But the best part of the man-cave from hell....has to be the HOT TUB ROOM

The bowling alley he stole the carpet for the hot tub room from had a better and more consistent interior design

The definition of Hodge Podge....dude was on some sort of 15 years of magazine design article kick rolled into one jigsaw puzzle.......money don't buy taste or good sense.

That place hit ugly in the first pic.

I would say he is definitely single. His architect was single. His contractor was single. The guy he bought the furniture from was single.

And what guy in his right mind would have that much garage/shop space, then cut down all those trees and plant that much grass. He'll be mowing 2 days a week. 13.5 of my 15 acres is woods, for a reason.

Pretty rough. Still nicer than my spread lol.

Everything about it is bad though, even the placement of the house, it’s orientation, and especially the grading. Outside what I assume is some sort of sun room is just a big dip that looks swampy in the pics, I’m sure that holds plenty of water after some rain. Probably smells great too.

All that money spent inside on goofy things and the landscaping around the house is plain as a section 8 gubment home.

Look at us, hating on some millionaires dream home... lol

It looks like a schoolhouse.

Probably doesn't work on his own stuff, layout looks frustrating and inefficient even beyond the tools/shop distance.

It's pretty ugly, true. I've got far bigger aesthetic issues with most of the McMansions on Lake Norman though, if we're talking about really poor taste in buildings.

Looks like it was placed in the back of an existing field looking at the hay bales around the house. Which explains all the grass.
