Jesus...after reading all this, I'd seriously do an 05+ front axle under your 7.3 dually and just keep on keepin on. Beats a truck payment and higher insurance. Still gotta put gas in a new truck and tires and oil...so...eff it. Keep what you got. Ima rock my 02 LB7 forever. 318k and counting.
How are the v-10's?

Seeing this pic reminds me of @77GreenMachine throwing back that water bottle and getting a big chug of @BigClay dip juice
I have an 08 V10 with 4.10 and it's more than enough for the standard jeep and trailer. It likes to rev high, but has enough power to get through the mountains. 130k and there have been no issues with the engine or trans. Around 11-12 mpg driving unloaded and 7-9 mpg towing. How are the v-10's?

Has anyone had any experience with the new 7.3 gasser?
So 600hp, and the same torque as an 05 Common Rail Cummins I'm sure adding 200hp is totally "cool" with the stock cooling system too.The towing is excellent, and not that you’d need it but there’s now a super charger from ProCharger available for them and they add over 200HP and make it more powerful than the Powerstroke. And it all bolts on and looks factory.
FWIW, the 7.3 real world fuel economy numbers are exactly what you would expect from a big gasser, and exactly what always happens with Ford's BS inflated MPG numbers:The empty mpg is impressive, close to 20mpg thanks to the 10 speed trans.

But I get it, some people like big HP numbers and others like big diesel torque. I like torque and mpg.

Seems like that's close to diesel truck money, but im out of touch with the gas market.I have been looking around at different Ford 250's and stumbled across this one.

6.2 $29K 109K miles. Is that priced about right or high? I haven't seen anything bad on the 6.2's but I have not looked close. Thoughts?
