Ok we move into this place on 01/01/10. I'm not a into the whole ghost thing are ever believed in it. But im having to rethink it here lately.
On more then time we have seen are heard some weird shit.
MY 13 year son has had his covers and pillowed pull off him while he was sleeping and when he woke up no one was there.
He woke up one night to go pee and while doing his business he heard some one whisper in his ear he about pissed his self and screamed out loud anyone who knows him he is tough and never cries are hollers out in pain.
Ok now on to me I have seen shadows moving and heard noises but the biggest things. Once I went to get towel out of one bathroom and left the door open when i step out of bathroom the door slammed shut. Same night i went to take shower and got to thinking about the door slamming and I spoke out loud slamming doors you must be a woman ghost at that exact time the door trim started to vibrate.
I just asking is it us are we just being weird about this are do we have a problem.
BTW i know my grammer sux

All I can say is be NICE! I have never been supersticious (sp) but there are some unexplained things that go on.

Research the property. Maybe something bad has happened there or maybe spirits are just attracted to your family.

BTW...I believe in all that shit; ghosts, demons, the boggie man, lochness monster, bigfoot, yeti, voodoo dolls (I wish I knew how to use one), giant squid, mermaids and fireworks.

wow thats wierd but once you get that mindset that theres a ghost i think you will always think its around. you son is pretty self expained to me he pushed the covers off while asleep i do that all the time, i've actually woke up one morning to learn i had completly thrown the covers of the bed.
and if he gets up in the middle of the night to go pee by himself, i used to get these weird feelings sometimes, he might just think hes hearing things becuase hes scared inside.

the door shutting is kinda weird but you never know wind from anywhere could have just randomly caught it. and i dont really understand the door molding shaking

I have tired to look at it with open eyes but i keep coming back to its a ghost. Myself I"m not scared. We have had people over and they have seen shadows and got goose bumps before i told them what was going on. There have been other things either missing or moved. I google the address nothing shows up. The cover he said would be on the other side of room. None of my pets seem to see or hear anything. So maybe its just a bunch of over acting

Call Zak, Aaron, Nick from Ghost Adventures. Seriously though thats pretty freaky. I dont believe in that sort of stuff, but from the show Ghost Adventures dont provoke it or try any self rituals to try and rid it, it may attach itself to you or a family member. Research around for any paranormal experts in the area maybe they can help.

A friend of mine bought A house about a year ago. Stuff happens to them all the time. Got asking questions to the neighbors about the house we always wondered why there was two wells come to find out a boy poured poison In the first well and killed his mom and dad bout 25 years ago. You can hear people walkin through the house doors open and shut all the time .

first thing have a priest preferably catholic bless the house if you are religious.
Also get a hold of TAPS ie ghost hunters they can get you in touch with people who can help you . Tell your son to be strong and tell the spirit to leave me alone . if you need anything else PM me
Check the house for a high EMF reading that can cause weird felling in people and visions

At my parents house we have had 3 ghosts there that we've seen/felt. My dad, who doesn't believe in them AT ALL, has seen one in a top hat. Everyone has seen the little boy, even one of my ex gf's. We believe he's the 'good spirit'. He is the watcher over the children's side of the house (where my sister still lives and were my brother and I were). There was something down in the basement that everyone that has ever come to my house has felt...never met anyone who could just calmly walk up the stairs without running half way up. That feeling/spirit/whatever has since gone away over the last couple years, but the child remains.

...fireworks.

I'm soooo glad someone else believes in fireworks and I'm not the only one!!

I have personally seen a UFO (STFU I know what I saw) but never a ghost. My mother and one of sisters has seen or felt one though. My mom saw a guy in a top hat and my sister's old house; "it" wouldn't let you place stuff on top of the refrigerator, it would just push them off later.

Dude...Move. In all the made for tv movies I have seen this never ends good.

best advice, and rationale, ever.

Get the %#@ out of that house. believe me. Get out

Ive experianced this crap. Get out! get out get out or it will haunt you the rest of your life!!

I had some weird stuff happen to me around the same age of 13 or so. waking up in cold sweats, no covers or pillows (still do sometimes), waking up in other places in the house and could have SWORN someone picked me up in the middle of the night and moved me! horrible, terrifying nightmares were common as well.

turns out I started to sleep walk, my mom watched me go to the fridge one night and drink milk and never opened my eyes, I didn't remember a thing. I think it mostly was caused by the puberty stage I was going through.

there's lots of ppl in my family with weird sleeping habits, sleepwalking (stepdad still does it, he's even peed in the closet a few times  ), talking bout random sh!t when asleep, ect.

and I see stuff out of the corners of my eyes all the time that are never really there, but my eyes are effed up anyway... and the molding making noises and doors shutting or opening at random happen often in the house I live in now, I chalk it all up to shotty craftmanship, lol.

as you can tell I don't really believe in the whole supernatural thing anymore. even though I love to watch those kind of movies. :D

I've heard that if you ask if there has been any paranormal activity in a house before you buy it then the current owners are obligated by law to tell you. Any truth to this?

My sisters old house had some strange things going on in there. Like candles randomly lighting themselves, sound of footsteps in the hallway even though everyone in the house is sitting in the same room, doors randomly slamming shut, cabinet doors in the kitchen all being open, etc... There was once where I thought someone was trying to hold the bathroom door shut to not let me out. When I finally got the door open no one was there. Been a believer since.

We totally believe in all of the paranormal stuff. I have always kind of believed in ghost and while working night shift at a nursing home in SD solidified the belief. While working there I saw 2 plain as day and heard them all the time. One of the ghost was a woman in white that only roamed 2 out of 4 halls but only went across the hall from room to room. The rooms she would walk in and out had residents that were completely unable to walk or get out of bed on their own let alone walk across the hall in different halls. The other was a guy that looked like a fully clothed resident walking down the hall (he was not allowed to be walking alone) so we race after him to get him back to bed. He turned a corner seconds before we got to him and when rounded the corner he was no longer there after searching every room in the hall we find him fast asleep at the end of the hall in the exact same positioned, wearing the same thing we left him an hour before. Most residents (some with dementia and some without) would see a small boy that was either so cold he was blue and shivering or so hot he was actually on fire. I had to "put him out" with an extra blanket on one occasion. This same kid would take pictures that residents had and place them in odd places for instance he would take pictures off of the shelf and place them near the sink by the door. He usually only did this to residents that could not get up and out of bed without help. Heard children playing in the bath houses, had residents tell me to, and I quote, "Go shut them kids up, kick them in the head or something.". I have many other stories.

As for being in the house, you want to call a paranormal group that is in the area to come out and investigate. Most times you can let them (the ghost) stay in the house, if they are pissed off for whatever reason you pretty much have 2 choices 1) get them out 2) leave. You should start keeping a log as to time/date, day/night and what happened, who was there and where, and pretty much any information that may help if you have someone come check it out. I would keep a camera handy to snap pics when things happen. Here is a group I found that seem pretty competent http://www.charlotteareaparanormal.org/contact-caps/.

This video creeps me the hell out.

i have been inplaces with some unexplained things going on. we lived in a house once where if you got up in the middle of the night you could smell a cigar,(we don't smoke cigars), the last house we lived in we swore we saw ghosts, the dog would be sleeping and all of a sudden would wake up biting the air, like someone was bothering him.
the way i see it, the ghost hasn't hurt you, as long as he keeps his damn hands out of my plate of food, he can hang out and watch tv.

I don't believe in ghost or any of that other bs. That being said, I once remodeled a house in Bessemer City that the homeowner said was haunted by a woman in a blue dress. I knew the family, so I had no reason to not believe them, but I just don't buy that stuff. Anyway, one day one of the guys that worked for me mentioned a woman came by to see the work being done to the house. She mentioned she had lived there as a child in the 30's but moved when her mother was killed in front of the house by a hit and run while she was in her favorite blue night gown. I had never told the guys of the ghost stories and the woman in the blue dress so it was kind of weird. I could also get electric signals from my little voltage pen thing against an interior wall that I built and knew there was no electrical wires.
