Shot sat morn @9:20 in Ashe Co. 22lbs, 5"beard, 1/2" spurs. First one ever and got to kill it w/ my Dad who had never even heard a turkey.

Had to chase him 1/2 mile up the mountain as he kept going away from me. Eventually got him to turn and dropped him @ 30 yds. 12ga. 3"mag, Federal #5s. Gobbled over 50 times in 2 hours

Anybody else get one?

Ashe Co. is a great place to hunt. I used to hunt up around Peak Creek Township on Cranberry Creek.
