Google+...anyone using it?

So I've been seeing that commercial on TV about some new phone that's geared toward google+ (big surprise, it runs off of Android). Anyway, I tried to get into it a while back when it first started but I just didn't like it. Now I'm thinking about trying it again. I like the circles feature and started messing with it this morning.

Is anyone else using it?

ps - oh and the bonus feature is that my work computer doesn't block it like facebook.
 
I like it ok, better than FB in many ways and better than Twitter in some ways, too. I am basically using it like a combination of those two and also Google Reader.
 
It's got a pretty good feed and I like how you can follow certain folks like twitter (even though I don't use it). One thing that does bug me is when I try and share pictures/videos and I forget to add a circle and then I don't know how to go back and add them without posting all over again :shaking:
 
Im gonna wait for it to get more hits.. Is it still in BETA testing?
 
Nah, Its wide open now. They're making small changes it seems week by week.

I use to use it. seems like it i got to 12 friends and hit a dead end, lol. now real popular among my crowd apparently. social network is kinda boring with only 12 friends and i refuse to add silly celebs.

There are a few people I follow... not sure nerdy 'celebs' like Wil Wheaton count...

seriously? that's my email address for gmail. that's probably the reason I've been getting Honda emails for somone named Tobey :shaking:

anyway, mine's the avatar of a weiner dog standing up in a window.
 
I use it with another forum I frequent, I have about 600 people from there in one circle. It's always entertaining, even when the forum itself is slow.

Also, thinking of setting up a hangout to watch some of the Ultra4 coverage of KOH... anyone interested enough to help me figure out how it works?

I've not tried the hangout feature yet. I might give it a shot if I can find some time.

Since I started this thread I've added around 60 people but they're all from pirate :lol: it's slow going but there's a few die hards that post regularly. I'm trying to but I always feel I'm repeating myself since I typically post something to facebook first :shaking:

edit: I feel honored btw. you're my first NC4x4 friend :blush:

Sorry Cyd was already in the contact listso she was easy.
Ive never used teh facetoobs and i feel like that may be a requirement to understand this + thing. But i added ya, not real sure whats going on though.

the priniciples are the same but they're different. I like the idea of hangouts on G+. Depending on how this whole facebook stock selling thing goes, G+ might be the better to go with. From what I'm gathering facebook is going to start selling people's info off to advertisers and such.
