I have a dozen jackstands here. They are either Northern Tool, Craftsman or Torin.

I trust my leaky hydraulic jacks more than Harbor Freight 3 ton jackstands, because I know they will collapse over 10 minutes instead of 10 milliseconds.

But I do have 6 15 year old hf jack stands, 4 6t, 2 12t That I use for non lift projects

Just make sure it didn't come from Harbor Freight. The Northern Tool lifts are much safer.

A friend has a lift that came in the shop when he bought his house. It's a Chinese no name. I'm pretty sure it's the same one in the lift failure video that was circulating years ago. I don't like standing under his, the arms are visibly bent. "Aslo" this is a pic of the warning sticker on his lift:
