have welder, need somewhere to wrench in raleigh

A recent move to the Raleigh area (Cary to be exact) has left me with nowhere to work on my jeep. It doesn't need "work" per se, more like mods. sliders, tummy tuck, SYE, 8.8 rear, rear bumper/tire carrier built, etc.... I am looking for somewhere to use regularly. Maybe you have a garage and wanna build stuff but don't have a welder? Maybe we can help eachother. I can possibly pay some, but trading would be better. All I need is a roof, hard floor, and 220 power for the welder (hobart handler 190). I have my own tools.

I'm in my 30's responsible and respectful of other peoples things.

Will your heep be staying at/in the garage long term, or just while working on projects?

My jeep would only be there when I was working on it. The longest it would be there would be a full weekend, it's my dd so I need that weekends project done for Monday morning.

How far? Depends. Don't really want to travel more than 30-45 minutes. Use of someones space buys the use of my welder and my help if needed.:cool:

Back to this thread..... I appreciate all the offers..... I'm getting close to needing somewhere! I swapped another 35 rear in my TJ a few weeks back at my apartment and got the orange "we gone tow ya" sticker..... so I finished it up and have been driving it. BUT while I was under it, I noticed frame rot all around the rear upper CA mounts..... I have found a frame, and am now on the hunt for sopmewhere I can spend a weekend swapping..... I leave for Cali next thursday so it will be after I get back and after the 4th. Likely around July 13... While I have the jeep apart I plan on doing a MML, small body lift, and replacing all control arms..... possibly SYE also. Not sure yet.
