GA Trail Riders wants to see you stay open, and every trip we've planned has been canceled by inclement weather, but we're planning to come in the next couple of months.

Save gulches

I want to thank everyone for their out pouring of support. We are surviving one month at a time. With everyones help we may make it through this. That being said we still are pursuing investors to partner or purchase the park. Again thanks for your concern.
To address some of your suggestions. We have expanded the 3D area and opened that entire ridge- many more lines.
Memberships are an idea we investigated but that is a diminishing return. We have new pricing in place and this should help it is now $25.00 per rig and driver. We hope this isn't a hardship on anyone and it may fill that 25% gap we had in 2010. For out of town groups that want to come in for a weekend we have simplified the pricing. It used to be very hard to figure out what it would cost to come to Gulches (20 per rig, 10 per rig Friday, 5 per passenger, 10 per tent and all of that per day times 2 or 3) Now it is just $50.00 per vehicle including passengers and camping from Friday at 3:00pm to Sunday at 6:00 pm. This makes it real easy to figure.
Again thank you so much for your support and concern. This is all very heart felt. You don't know how difficult it was to make the this announcement. From both Lydia and myself thank you so much.

Wow, thats a pretty sweet deal for the weekend. Really hope were able to make it down for the presidents day ride with everyone.

Skip,
that is a killer deal for the whole weekend of wheeling, but what if your group wanted to stay in a hotel instead of camp?
could that still work?

Regardless I/WE will pay 50.00 staying there or not.

Thanks, Skip!! We are here to support you!!!!

Hey, thanks to all that posted pictures. Might be the first time I've seen DRY pictures. Very impressive. CTB was down there about 2 years ago, Maybe in March. It had rained, closeing 1/2 the park, & snowed a little while we were there. Seemed like , even in the Magazine articles, it always rained. That discouraged many from returning. It's time we try it again! If we cant fit it in our 2011 schedule, we can make it an alternate ride!!

Bump!

I've only been once on our annual fullsizebronco.com summer run, but Gulches sure made an impression on me. Tons of fun for all kinds of rigs, from mild to wild. Plan to get back down there soon to help the cause and add some dents.

Hi guys, I just followed a link to this thread from another site. So I figured I'd join up. Looks like everyone has the same idea and is trying to all help Skip out.
I just wanted to add an invite to the list. I see that a lot of you are planning rides for different dates. My club is having a big ride there on Jan 29th. I have to work that weekend, so I am taking a small group(5-8 rigs) on Jan 15th, and then again 1st weekend in Feb possibly. So if anyone wants to wheel, but have schedule conflicts, come join me. It will be a great ride for 1st timers, I have 4 1st timers going with me and it will be a very diverse group of guys.... 3 stock rigs, 2 buggies, and everything in between
