I saw this in Hot Rod Magazine. The guy owns a small truck line and they basically drew it out on a huge whiteboard, then built it in house. Being a 2 stroke Detroit, it sounds like it is turning twice as fast as it really is. Pretty bad ass.

The plan is to build a Peterbilt around the motor, he has ordered 40ft. X 4x8 tubing for the frame.

Jay Leno has one similar to it I think it was built by the Blastoline (sp?) Brothers that built his tank car. I love the fuel tank on the back!

I'll see your diesel and raise you 14,200rpm ( BMW S1000RR cutaway running )

There are pics somewhere of the engine in the chassis already.

might have 3k hp but it's about as practical as a hammering finishing nails with a 12# sledge.

Yeah but it will be cool!

While it does look evil, something tells me it will be worthless for anything other than the "WOW"-factor?
With that much HP/torque, getting it to hook up for pulling or even straight line drags could be a nightmare... unless they're fitting some super-single "slicks", maybe even 8 of them on the rear? :D

Dang! $$$,$$$!
