How fast does your rig go?

65 mph @ 3200rpm

My friend has a 89 Toyota 22re p/u with 10 inch lift, 35 inch tires and his speedo says 85.

Gixxer- book says ~180 but it has a few mods so id say a little faster (150 the fastest ive been)
Heep- 0 now but when it does drive it takes everything it has to go 80 and that is not fun... at all

Whats a Gixxer? A bike? I don't know nothing about those things....lol

DD will do a little over 160. Bike will do 172, tow rig - 95 (limited), trail rig.. It scared me at 60. But it's done about 85 going downhill.. (on a trailer :flipoff2:)

I remember that bike being extremely fast, but it topped out just over 170 with a light tailwind in one of the mag tests. Moto speedos are always off (optimistically) when they read from the crank sprocket...

148 in 04 Evo MR.... 7o in 91 4runner v6 with 39's 5.29's

I have run 75 in mine for an extended amount of time on the interstate.
The tow rig runs about the same speed, but it is more comfortable and easier on the tires.

I've had the buggy on the interstate keeping up with and passing cars at 65-75mph
The tow rig with will run over 100 empty or full (closed course do not attempt at home no animals were injured all insurance policys were current, see dealer for more disclosures) Most fast cars that we sell and I'll drive from time to time are limited to 150-155 however, We do work on a 77' RUF 930 that has hit the 200mph mark(206 by the GPS) in my hands.
Speed is fun , I've just gotten better sense the older I get.

ZJ-gone 100 no prob never pushed it any harder
yj-80 or so it said. That was on a harsh downhill with a tailwind. On highway its around 70-75. I wish I could get an extra few mph out of her for the 70mph limit but I have to admit that I like the fact I can't really get pulled for speeding on 264. And who can beat using a brick for cruise control?

101 on 36" Iroks, 103 on 35" BFG AT's, about 75 on 38" SX's, but I was too busy driving to really pay attention.

I imagine my buggy will go over 65 mph but things get kind of loud, shaky, etc. so I don't think I've ever gone over 45 or 50 mph. My taco will do whatever taco's do (115? 135?) but I don't think I've ever broke 105 mph.

I did tow at 95 mph one time. I thought I saw the bad guy in an amber alert that was being advertised everywhere so I decided to catch up. It wasn't him so I slowed back down. I won't be doing it again but it was interesting to see what it could do.

...maybe 55 max tachin' 4K down the highway....283 Chevy, 5.38 gears, 32" tires :alien:

i've been about 80 on 38's (a little unnerving) and about the same on my 37's, idk what it will do when the 4.56's finally find their way into the axles. rpm's will be up there at interstate speeds.

my rig goes faster than anyones:)

95 in my old 85 chevrolet scottsdale 15'' lift d60 5:13's and 42's speedo stops at 85 so it was buried i had a buddy ride beside me lets say my balls were in my throat didnt expect it to get up and go like that but i miss that truck :(

My DD is a 2.5 YJ on 31's.It has a hard time maintaining 75 on the highway if it gets too hilly,I have to run in 4th gear. Now my Monte Carlo? It has a hopped up 355,flat top pistons, voodoo cam, high rise intake,750 edelbrock and I changed it over to a 5 speed manual trans with 4:10 posi rear end.I am not sure of the top speed, but I can max out the 85 MPH speedo in 3rd gear and I still have 4th and 5th to go,it runs them both out just fine........

my trail rig goes about 65, my 96 F150 i always baby has never been over 75, for some reason my 240sx wont tach over 3500 and it just shuts down till i push the clutch in and rev it up. i think its cause the speedometer is broke and reads that its maxed out all the time. my Sami goes zero right now:lol:
my bike however, well it taps the rev limiter at 174, scary shit right there!:wheel:

My 77 250 with a built 400 on 37's will pin the 100mph speedo...I really try not to run it that high though...usually keep it at parade speeds. My 79 Bronco used to only hit 83, but since I rebuilt the 400 in it last month, I've had it to 100. The 96 350 with 460, tops out at 0 right now, spun a bearing. But she could pin the speedo as well.

Used to have a 78 K10, 60/14 on 44's, built 454/400/205... speedo was hardly functional, but one day got it up to 100 based on the speedo in a buddys car, that was 2-3 years ago and I wouldn't do it again... probably.

03 z71 would run 120, until I took it in for service and a limiter at 99 was installed...

01 WJ would run 100, never pushed it past that.

89 Xj on 33s would do 80 no problem, never tried to go faster.

97 xj on 36's will do 65, wont try any faster.

99 XJ stocker would do 90, never needed to push it further

97 S10 4 cyl would do 90, if ya dogged it runnin up the gears, otherwise it took ages.

91 honda accord would do 85, never needed to go any faster.

84 Xj on 33s would do about 15... only had 1st gear...

Sums up every vehicle Ive owned I believe.

4yrs ago I had my 98xj pegged on I85 south heading to Northeasts ER. I don't even know what speedo stops at now, but then it was past it. That was with 35s and 3.55s.
