How to tell a Rubicon from a regular jku?

This is all you need.

Buy it. Don’t listen to the haters. Mine doesn’t have any led light bars, and it still does ok off-road. Instagram post by Pj Mallory • Dec 31, 2017 at 8:04pm UTC

How about stickers? You got stickers? Which ones? If I'm doing it, I need to be strategic on performance enhancers. It already has some huge spider decals that should work pretty well above and beyond the rubicon stuff.

Fortunately the hood decal isn't pictured real well online. Otherwise this thing would have been sold in like 41 minutes. Hopefully they don't add anymore pictures online showcasing the hood so I have a chance to look at it.

I do have my eye on a couple more that I like better. They don't have the cool decals though. I guess that's a blank slate for me to really make it look good. :D

Time spent on Poison Spyder stickers but none of their products that I can see. Funny

Hey those are high dollar poison spyder decals......

But I don’t see any of their actual parts on it

Yep. Unless they were removed by the dealer but they left the stickers.

Or, could just be a totally cool mall crawler with a cool sticker. Adds like $3500 to the price.

I'm just wondering if the $$$ the rubicon brings is worth it. I guess I could build axles and add an Atlas but that's likely way more than the $$$ Rubicon brings.

But, I'd have better axles than the rubicon if I built some and installed, like d60/9" combo, etc. hmmm...

That’s going to be a heck of a change for a daily driver.

But then it would get stuck on the jack stands for like eleventy months and you'd just end up writing a big check to @MarsFab

None related to wheeling, or thoughts of wheeling. Seriously, they make badass dd/wheelers, when used correctly. That said, I HATE typical jks. They are freaking everywhere, and have the same ridiculous crap bolted on them. But I love mine.

@tw89yj Travis, you upgrade axles or just outers?

My favorite is the metallic silver with the flares the same silver as well as the hard top, on 40" tires and decent 17" aluminum beadlocks.

But the soft top looks better on the black.

Mine has sd60 and 14 bolt slammed under it. And I run black painted hardtop during the winter.

Did you solid axle swap that?

Buy the rubi. Drive it as is for now. When ready to upgrade, I'll take the axles!
