Lightweight. I've done that to myself at least twice. It hurts a wee bit... But by the time the toe nail is ready to come off, it's sort of like digging out an infected splinter.

It's funny, I've done and seen all kinds of gross shit, from holding a tube jammed into a rat/cat/monkey's heart while it stopped beating, to scalping animals, or removing chunks of (living) skulls to stick things into a brain...
not to mention all the fun stuff that comes w/ babies and kids. ..

but that right there gave me the willies.

It's been a couple years, but I can recall walking down the interstate and individually bagging pieces of people that were at least as big as a quarter. Very grizzly car crash on the interstate.

That toenail is a splinter in comparison.

i can deal with all kinds of gross shit if it's me. i have cut the end of my finger off, (crazy glued back on) and only stopped cutting the onions long enough to stop the bleeding. i had a compound fracture of my left arm and was able to walk home before calling the ambulance. none of that bothered me.

that shit on video was nasty.

I've taken a 1/16" drill bit to my own finger nails a couple of times to drain the blood and relieve the pressure after being smashed. Hurts a bit while pushing down on the drill bit, but it feels much better after relieving the pressure from the blooed under the nail.

if you heat the drill bit or safety pin/needle it goes right through the nail.
