Hydraulic Hose At Home

I have a great local hydraulic shop.
When I'm ready for lines I'll load the vehicle on the trailer and do them in their parking lot.
It's usually a good piece of conversation and the whole shop comes out to shoot the shit and help.

One time I brought the finished vehicle back and gave a ride around the parking lot to the owner and the employees.
I'm getting discounts now.

Another option is to buy the hose, and fittings, then route and cut the line at home, clocking the fittings how it lays out best, and then marking them so that when you take it to the shop, they can realign the fittings correctly, before crimping them.
That's what I do if I can't bring the rig to the shop.

I second putting a straight end on one side of all the hoses if you can.

I used discount hydraulic hose for mine. It was around $100 for everything for my full hydro setup.

Both pieces came from a cpp brand kit, when i hook up the adapter to an6 fitting it is a good connection, the field serviceable end is crooked though. Not stripped, but appears to be loose threads on the field serviceable end. Ended up buying hoses with swivel one end 90 other end and 90 degree fittings. Problem solved.

Would still trust a brand like fragola, Brennan industries, Parker etc but the cheap ebay ones are a gamble
