I don't like drones....

I thought this was about Hillary voters..

Once a couple hundred people die in a plane crash caused by a drone there will be some regulations.

And at :37

I honestly don't see how the drone was "interfering" with fighting that fire. Since the fire was under control enough to take the hose off the hot spot and shoot at the drone, the job was pretty much done. I can't stand how everything is being recorded now with drones or personal cameras, but still, the drone was well out of the way of the firefighters and they were just being pricks about it.

No. Drones are pretty darn annoying. Noise distraction, and possibility of unintended RF interference to radios or PASS device. On the fireground, you don't need distractions like somebody's stupid drone. Even when it's "under control enough" you can still die.

If you slow down the video, four guys on the ground look up at the drone, before one tells the hose guy to take it out. It is distracting them.

And "well out of the way" is still close enough to hit it with a handline -- that's not far. If I remember my cheat sheet right (it's been a long, long time) should be 90-95' (2.5 line, 65psi nozzle pressure).

That would be a1 3/4" attack line @ aprox 100psi at the nozzle/140psi at the pump depending on elevation. Of course if running a 2 1/2" supply to a gated 1 3/4 Y then we have a new set of calculations to do.

Let's just assume it's 150gpm@100psi and leave it at that. :huggy:

Fireman #1: "Sir, there is a drone flying above the scene"

Command: As command and fire chief I technically own this property at this moment. I suspect there may have been foul play, a booby trap was found at the back door when we arrived. That drone could be the suspected arsonist watching us to set off a secondary device.

"Command to CD interior attack, eliminate threat"

CD Attack leader: "10-4, threat eliminated".

The term drone is thrown around too loosely. A drone is an autonomous flying vehicle, i.e. it can fly without human intervention. These are simply nothing more than RC helicopters, which have been around for years. If you put a camera on an RC car, does it become a "drone"?
