the one in the link is only a street ride.. is still uses all VW suspension..

The monster bug was featured in the latest Hot VWs. Yeah, it's just a glorified body lift. Kinda crappy, if you ask me. There's a nicer one from Ohio that comes down for the shows, on 38s, that actually utilizes some interesting suspension work. The dude that owns it is an asshat, though. All that work, and it's never seen dirt. He gets a pic in the mag anytime they're at a show he's showing in, though.

Yeah, now THAT's what I'm talking about. Like I said, I wasn't a fan, but someone put a metric asston of effort to put that, uh, body lift on the beetle. Plus, the body and interior are clean looking too. It's not one of those "looks good from the street" cars, it looks good up close too. BUT, I'd rather have the trail rigs too.
